	Motion Activated Light Adapter For those homeowners who do not want to remove an existing fixture, you can use this adapter to create a motion-activated exterior light. Simple remove the lightbulb, screw in the adapter, and reinsert the light bulb. $12 from Home Depot

	Remote Control Switch This switch can be used to make your electric garage door opener mechanism inoperable with one push of the remote button. Simply unplug your garage door opener, plug it into the remote switch, and plug the remote switch into the outlet. Now you can use the remote switch to turn off the garage door opener power, at night, while you are on vacation, etc. Even if someone has your remote, they cannot get the garage door open when this item is used. $15 at Home Depot

	Motion Sensor Security Light This light replaces the spotlights in backyards and on driveways to create instant illumination when motion is detected. It can be set to stay on for 1-10 minutes, and only turns on when the sun is down. $10 from Home Depot

	White security Camera This stand-alone camera can be placed almost anywhere and comes with 50 feet of power and transmission cable. It can be plugged into any television or VCR with the yellow, white and red RCA jacks. $80 at Radio Shack

	Emerson Wireless Camera & Receiver This enables the homeowner to place a camera anywhere inside or outside the home. This wireless camera will send a picture for more than 500 feet, and can be viewed on any television set with the round yellow, white and red RCA jacks, and can even be plugged into VCR to record activity. The receiver can handle up to 4 2.4 GHz cameras and has an external switch to switch between cameras. $129 by mail-order
